Process

Swipe the plastered wall with a wire brush to achieve a surface-saturated dry condition

Apply the first coat on the surface and dry for 4 to 6 hours

Swipe the dried surface with extremely fine emery paper or sponge and leave it overnight

Apply the second coat of putty and allow it to dry for 4 to 6 hours.

Regular calibration helps give you accurate readings, so ensure you do this before taking a reading. It's important to check the device manual for specific instructions for calibration and adjust the necessary settings.

In areas with high humidity or damp conditions, surfaces that retain moisture may be susceptible to mould and mildew. Berger’s moisture meter helps prevent the effects of mould and mildew by detecting the moisture content of specific areas, even before visible damage.  

With this, you can implement corrective waterproofing treatment and improve the ventilation of the area.
