APPLICATION PROCESS
Prepare Surface with sanding or wire mesh
For old surface, use Emery Paper No. 80 to sand the surface and wipe clean. For new surfaces, use wire mesh to strip all the loose particles from the surface via scraping and wipe down. This will help achieve a smooth finish with eventual paint application.
Start with First Coat
Begin with one coat of primer and leave it to dry for 6-8 hours. The primer will completely set in and retain the paint better.Prime wooden surfaces with wood primer and metal surfaces with Red Oxide/Zinc Chromate primer.
Apply Happy Wall Putty for Smooth Surface
Apply 1 coat of Happy Wall Putty and leave it to dry for overnight. Finish by sanding the surface with emery paper No. 220 and clean.
Apply Second Coat of Primer
Administer the second coat of primer and allow it to dry for 6-8 hours. Reinforce by sanding with Emery Paper No. 220 and wipe clean.
